Studio Jan 2022 updates

Well……13 years later and somehow I’m still here. Ironically, the studio is the best it has ever been, but unfortunately it is tough for me to get in here besides weekends at the moment due to my post production / sound design responsibilities with Audible. I love the work that I do there and couldn’t be happier. Never thought i’d be in and out of Nuendo/Pro Tools/Mac/PC every week, but glad to be well versed in both programs/operating systems nowadays!

Speaking of Audible, check out this non-fiction true crime podcast I worked on called Apartment 515 (editing/mixing/music/sound design/mastering)

If romantic comedies are your game, check out Sweet Talk , Call Me Maybe, or After the Fairy Tale . (mixing/music/sound design/mastering)

For a cool, short, futuristic sci-fi title, check out The Prynne Viper. In a futuristic world where predictive software can map out the lives of every living person and their descendants, Naomi Prynne is on trial. The charge: endangerment by way of a pregnancy. Thirteen jurors will determine whether Naomi is allowed to carry the pregnancy to term, but the jurors are also all plaintiffs, the software having predicted how Naomi Prynne’s child will affect each of them in life-changing ways. (mixing/minimal sound design/mastering)

For a non-fiction tale of 3 men in 1968 who competed at racing their Sail boats around the world, check out this short title The Maintenance Race (mixing/minimal sound design/mastering)

Or, if you are into dark titles, check out Daisy Chains. (mixing/sound design/mastering) Note: This content contains sensitive themes of suicide and mental illness that may be disturbing to some listeners. If you or someone you know is struggling with these issues, please contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: (800) 273-8255.

One I didn’t particularly work on, but one that I suggest everyone listen too. Uncomfortable conversations that need to be had: We’ve Got Answers

Or just simply hear my name pronounced beautifully in the credits of The Velveteen Rabbit by famed narrator Richard Armitage. : )

There are more I can’t think of right now, but really excited for the sound design opportunities I will receive this year through Audible.

Oh yea, music!

Atom Driver - Nefarious Industry Records (members of Buzzkill, Deadguy, and Good clean fun)

Uncle Leo

Tom Costello and the Turnarounds

The Best of the Worst - Choke Artist / Bad Time Records

Figurehead

Hershey and the Wolf

Defecting Grey (full length release coming soon)

More in the works this year! As I mentioned, I apologize that it has been very difficult for me to wrap my head around booking, so I am sorry if you have inquired about the studio and have not heard back. Maybe one day i could have someone else working here to make up for this, but for now, and how its been for last 13 years plus, it’s just yours truly. Continuing to play it by ear over here!

Thanks everyone!
